It's TIIIIIME! (Insert Mariah Carey's Voice 🎶)
If you’ve been rocking with us for a while, you already know that this is the season we drop our dated annual planner, and 2026 is no different. Yes, it’s finally here, and we’re so excited for you to get your hands on it!
For the newbies, karibuni sana! We can’t wait for you to experience the magic of a planner that actually supports your goals, routines, and overall lifestyle.
Why All They Hype?
Why should you get it (or not get it)?
Do you really need an annual planner?
Let’s be honest: your planner will only work for you if you work it.
We talked about this recently in our post about to-do lists. Feel free to check it out here.
If you want a planner you’ll use occasionally and still hope to magically live a more intentional and productive life… then this probably isn’t the one for you.
Is it cute? Absolutely.
Will you feel nice carrying it around? Of course.
Are there colour options? You know it!
It’s the perfect size, available in pink, blue, and purple, and will get you tons of compliments. People will even ask where you got it—please share the link with them😉.
But aesthetics alone won’t get you the results you want in 2026.
How To Use The Planner (and Maximize It)
1. Start With the Upfront Sections
These pages set the tone for your year. Take your time with them. From your vision board and big goals to your bucket list, reading list, and date ideas, this section gives you space to think intentionally about every part of your life.
2. Break It Down Into Quarterly Milestones
Once you see the big picture, narrow it down.
Three months is enough time to make real progress while still allowing room to adjust. We highly recommend reading The 12-Week Year to deepen your approach.
3. Use the Monthly Sections Intentionally
This is the heart of your planner. Each month allows you to:
· Set clear goals
· Note key dates on your monthly calendar
· Plan and track your finances
· Set weekly goals
· Plan your days with intention
Everything you need for a productive, organized, and aligned year is right here.
Side note: It’s a dated planner so yes, it may give you a little pressure (the good kind!). We hope that nudge keeps you reaching for it regularly.
How To Get The Most Out Of The Planner
Many of us in Kenya grew up hearing, “Failing to plan is planning to fail.” Getting your annual planner is the first step toward setting yourself up for big wins in 2026, and we love that for you!
1. Don’t Just Plan - Do the Work
Big girl/big guy goals require actual action.
Spend a little time planning, a lot of time executing, and a little more time reviewing.
2. Add Buffer Time
Overwhelm happens when you overload yourself with tasks.
Create a buffer. We like keeping a few hours on Thursday open for catching up. This helps us close the week strong.
3. Review Weekly, Monthly & Quarterly
The planner includes review sections for a reason.
Use them - Reflect. Adjust. Improve.
Do more of what’s working and course-correct what isn’t.
4. Schedule Rest
Rest is not optional.
Take small pauses between tasks. Insert breaks into your week or month. Rest might look like a 5-minute wellness walk, a nap, or a full vacation. Whatever fills your cup.
