Now that we’ve talked sales, let’s talk reflections - because nothing else says “mid-year” quite like taking stock of how far we've come.
Most of us set goals or intentions in January. But did you know:
📉 23% of adults quit their resolutions by the second Friday of the year (a.k.a. Quitter’s Day)
📉 43% abandon them by February
📉 And only 9% are still on track by mid-year
Surprising, right? But here’s the good news - June 1st is New Year’s Resolution Recommitment Day (yep, it’s a thing!), which means we all get a second chance ☺️
Let’s take a pause. Reflect. Reset. Realign.
Reflect on your 2025 intentions
♦️What were your goals or intentions at the start of the year?

Let me go first.
One of my intentions for 2025 was to be more intentional with my friendships. Life had been life-ing (story for another day), and somewhere along the way, my friendships took a back seat. Before I knew it, I was only talking to the same two people every day.
Now don’t get me wrong - I love my two girls! But I missed the banter, the voice notes, the random catch-ups, the tea. I missed being surrounded by different voices in different seasons of life.
So, what have I done about it?
I planned dates with two friends - which, by the way, are yet to happen 😂 (they were supposed to happen way before June).
But here’s the thing:
▶️I recognized that I set this intention and hadn’t followed through
▶️I checked in with myself and realized the goal still matters
▶️I decided what I’ll do next - reach out, reschedule the dates, and call the other friends I’ve been meaning to reconnect with
▶️My new deadline? Before July
Now listen, I’m one of those people who will send you a smoke signal before actually calling (hands up if you relate) … but I’m going to make the effort. That’s the thing with goals - sometimes the first step is just showing up. The rest will follow.
